For providing temporary service at construction sites, outdoor, or street lighting, the cable is designed to supply 120 volts aerial service. It is suitable for service at 600 volts or lower, with conductor temperatures not exceeding 75°C for polyethylene-insulated conductors or 90°C for crosslinked polyethylene (XLP) insulated conductors.
product features:
The conductors consist of concentrically stranded, compressed 1350-H19 aluminum. They are insulated with either polyethylene or crosslinked polyethylene (XLP). The neutral messengers are composed of concentrically stranded 6201, AAC, or ACSR.
Standards:
The service drop cable complies with or surpasses the specified ASTM standards:
Aluminum Wire, 1350-H19 for Electrical Applications, designated as B-230.
Aluminum Conductors, Stranded in a Concentric Lay, designated as B-231.
Aluminum Conductors, Concentric-Lay-Stranded, with Coated Steel Reinforcement (ACSR), designated as B-232.
Concentric-Lay-Stranded, Aluminum Alloy Conductors of 6201-T81, designated as B-399.
Compressed Round Stranded Aluminum Conductors utilizing a Single Input Wire, designated as B-901.

The specified sizes correspond to the ACSR 6/1 diameter equivalent resistivity per ASTM-B-399 for 6201. Conductor temperatures are 90°C for XLP and 75°C for Poly, with ambient temperatures at 40°C, emissivity at 0.9, and wind speed at 2ft/sec. in the sun.
For determining current ampacity based on conductor size, refer to the latest edition of The National Electric Code.
The provided data is an approximation and may be subject to normal manufacturing tolerances.
