Application: 

The Type XHHW-2 cable rated at 1000/600 volts is designed for general-purpose wiring in air conduits or other approved raceways for services, feeders, and branch circuit wiring, as stipulated by the National Electrical Code. It can operate at a maximum conductor temperature of 90°C in both wet and dry environments.

The 8000 Series aluminum alloy conductor is compactly stranded. It is insulated with black cross-linked polyethylene, which provides resistance to abrasion, moisture, heat, and sunlight. This cable can be installed without the need for pulling lubricant. It meets the CT Rated Standard for sizes 1/0 AWG and larger.

We keep sizes 6 to 2 gauge in stock in Black, White, Red, Blue, and Green. Sizes 1 to 750MCM are available in all the colors mentioned above, and in addition, we stock them in Brown, Yellow, Orange, Gray, and Purple.
