Copper XLP USE | RHH/RHW

description:

Conductors such as Type USE-2, RHH, and RHW-2 find their primary application in direct burial scenarios, conduit installations, or other acknowledged raceways for services and feeders, following the guidelines outlined by the NEC (National Electrical Code). These conductors are suitable for use in wet locations and environments where condensation or moisture accumulation may occur within the conduit or raceway. When employed in applications specifying Type RHH or RHW-2, it's imperative to ensure that conductor temperatures do not exceed 90°C in both wet and dry locations. Notably, Type USE-2, RHH, and RHW-2 conductors carry a voltage rating of 600 volts.

Standards:

The cable is rated for 600V and complies with UL standards 854 and 44. It is approved for cable tray use for sizes 1/0 and larger and follows NEMA Publication No. WC70 guidelines. Additionally, it meets the Gasoline & Oil Resistant II standard and is designated as sunlight resistant. The cable is capable of withstanding temperatures as low as -40ºC. It is both RoHS and REACH compliant. Furthermore, it adheres to Federal Specification A-A-59544 and the Insulated Cable Engineers Association ICEA S-95-658. Lastly, it complies with ARRA 2009 Section 1605.
