Aluminum 2KV Photovoltaic Cable is mainly employed for connecting grounded and ungrounded photovoltaic power systems. When installed following NEC article 690.31(C)(2) for PV source and PV output circuits, single-conductor cables of all sizes are suitable for outdoor cable tray installation. The PV cable is designed for applications with voltages up to 2000 volts and temperatures ranging from -40°C to +90°C, in both wet and dry conditions.
construction:
Conductor: Compact stranded 8000 Series Aluminum conductor per ASTM B800, B801, B836, B901.
Insulation: Cross-linked polyethylene (XLPE) is gas/oil and sunlight resistant, direct burial rated. Standard colors are black, red in sizes 8AWG to 1000KCM, and green in sizes 4AWG to 1/0AWG. Other colors or stripes are available upon request.
