Welding Cable is designed for connecting electrode holders and clamps to arc welders, bus welding boxes, or transformers. It is suitable for applications with voltages up to 600 volts and can withstand temperatures ranging from -50°C to +105°C.
construction:
Conductor: Rope-lay Class K flexible stranded bare copper conductor compliant with ASTM B-172.
Separator: Paper tape separator between the conductor and insulation.
Insulation: Insulation made of Thermoplastic Ethylene Propylene Rubber (EPR), highly resistant to flame, oil, grease, solvents, ozone, and abrasion. Conforms to Class 45 105°C, as per Table 50.55 of UL 1581.
Color Code Black: 6 AWG - 500 MCM
